Champagne Gaidoz Forget - Carte d'or - Brut

The champagne Carte D'Or - brut made in France (Ludes) literally glows in the glass, bright straw yellow with some pink reflections.
 
The nose starts with lovely fresh pome fruit notes (apple, fresh pear), then yellow flowers (acacia) and a hint of almond. The palate is fresh, with notes of hazelnut and cashew with a finish on mint and candied lemon. Irresistible !
